Smt. Srilatha Ramesh – Graduated in Arts she was working as a stenographer in a Private
Limited Company and resigned the job after marriage in 1988. She is a founder Trustee of BSS.
She learnt Yogasana from the famous Yoga Teacher Ms. Vanitha of Yogashree, Bangalore. She is
presently a teacher in Yoga & Pranayama and is closely involved with Vidya Chethana the current
project of the trust. She has served as a Trustee of Bharatha Samskrithi prathishthana for 6 years.
(Sampatthu is constructed on a site 30 x 40 donated by her to the Trust) (Pan # BECPS 3563 P).
SHRI. C.K. SHEKAR – Aged 56 years hails Chamarahalli in Kolar ditstrict. He is a Diploma holder
in civil engineering passed out from A.P.S. College. He is a self-employed person taking up Civil
Contract Work. Lived in rural area for a long time he is aware of the difficulties faced by Rural mass.
He firmly believes that Education can give them a new life & will help them to improve their standard
of living. He is closely associated with Swananda Balaganapathi Ashrama in Tathaguni who are
doing yeomen service in uplifting the rural people. He is a founder Trustee of Vishwatreya
foundation as well as Bharath Seva Sangh. His entire family is devoted to propagating Indian
culture & rendering Social/service activities.(Pan No. ABHPS 7369 L).
Shri. D.S. Ramesh Babu – Aged 67 years belongs to Chintamani of Kolar District. Graduated in
Science from Mysore University joined State Bank of India in the year 1980. He has worked in
Raichur, Dharwar, Kolar & Gulbarga districts and is aware of the pulse of the rural people. From the
beginning involved in service activities through Sai Seva Samithi & he has been distributing
Fruits/Biscuits in Govt. Hospital once a week to the poor in-patients. He works with NGO’s for
cleaning of village ponds, literacy in rural/slum areas etc,. He has been a committee member to
SAMPATTHU which is a similar organisaton. (Pan No. ABVPR 6753R)
COMMITTEE MEMBERS/VOLUNTEERS FOR SANTVAVNA
Smt. B.E. Seethalakshmi – Aged 67 years she is qualified BSc M.A., B.Ed Teacher. M.A. in
Kannada & Rashtrabhasha Praveen in Hindi. Worked in HMT High School for 33 years took voluntary retirement in the year 2006. She is keen in imbibing human values to the children. She
has been trained in Women empowerment skills, training life skills programme for children from
Govt. of Karnataka. She has certificate of Counselling from Shri. C.R. Chandrashekar, a popular
psychitatrist from Nimhans. (Pan # ABNPS O720 R)
P.V. Chandrashekar – Has served State Bank of India for 39 years. During his tenure as a
Branch Manger he has served in four branches in Bangalore and two in rural areas.. He has
observed the problems of the rural masses wherein the education can make a big difference to
increase their awareness. Devotes his free time to take care of Sampatthu – an orphanage at
Narayananagar, Bangalore.He retired in 2011and is associated actively with the trust, in organizing
cultural activities. He is interested in guiding poor children & imbibe human values in them. He is
known for his simplicity. When he was posted at Haveri ADB where he had a stint as Branch
Manager, he has conducted blood donation camps, Tree Planting programmes etc.,.(Pan # AALPC

B.E. Govind – Completed his Graduation in Science in 1977 & became a cost Accountant after
passing ICWAI in 1985. Joined Dena Bank as a Manager in Bangalore & worked a senior manager
in Branches as well as in Administrative offices at Mumbai, Pune& Hyderabad. He retired from the
Bank’s services in Jan 2018 by attaining superannuation. During his service at Dena Bank he
visited various rural areas & involved himself in community development projects. At present, he is
one of the Team Members of Sampatthu wherein he visits regularly to take tuitions to the children.
He also visits VidyaChethana Centres to guide the Teachers and Students. (Pan# AFPPG

Shri. B.E. Ramesh – Served in State Bank of India for 39 years and retired as Asst. Gen.
Manager in October 2020. He has served in various capacities in various places in the Karnataka
and also a stint in Ahmedabad Circle as Chief Manager, He has been a volunteer for
Vidya Chetana Tution Centres & makes regular visits to motivate teachers & the children. He is an
active member in Bharatha Samskriti Pratishtana – Sampatthu which is a trust managing a hostel
for 15 under privileged Boys. He has donated a land in Bangalore for the Trust which costs
around Rs. 90 lacs on which a 4 storeyed Building has come up where these children are
housed today. He is great philanthropist who is a driving force for various other trusts doing
