To The Elders who served the Society selflessly &
To the Under Privileged Children. – In addition Value Based Education, Samskaara & Personality Development to these Boys.
The meaning of Santvana is Comforting, Consoling, Soothing etc., our faith is that every less privileged boy is a potential asset (Sampatthu) of this country. It is the duty of the society to make those less privileged boys good asset of our country failing which they can become an anti-social and anti-national. Later the citizens in the society will become the victims of such elements. The anti-social elements can ruin the country.
Also there are many elders who would have served the society selflessly and who do not have any dear ones to take care of them in their evening of their life. It is the duty of all of us to take care of them in their present elderly days so that they will have a dignified life.
Santvana is an attempt to provide shelter, love & affection for the Elders & less privileged boys denied of parental care & counselling.
The Elders & Boys who will be chosen to stay in the Hostel can belong to any Religion, Caste or Creed.
The Santvana project aims to provide basic needs like food, clothing, shelter & Medical needs to the Elders & orphan/needy children all for free. The motto of all these residents would be VASUDAIVA KUTUMBAKAM – (UNIVERSAL BROTHER HOOD). (The entire world is one family. We may belong to any caste or any Religion. But we all belong to one family). The kids will be admitted into nearby schools and provided formal education until they become financially independent. They will be taught human values, morals and the cultural heritage of our country by these Elders… The objective is to make them good human beings who, in turn, will help other needy children in the society. Anybody who gets a help from others wish to return it back in one form or the other.
The entire wholesome facilities are being provided to all the beneficiaries at NO COST, by mobilizing support and donations from the voluntary persons, corporate organizations, and others who have similar Intentions.
The trust has constructed a shelter home for the Elders & Boys from the under-privileged sections at an estimated cost of Rs 62.02 lacs. The inauguration of the Building was done on 24th Sept 2017. Thanks to Corporate & Individual donors who contributed liberally towards Building fund.
As on date there are Nine Boys as inmates and hope the strength will go up in the days to come
We also wish to train the needy women village folk in Nursing the aged (not regular nursing course) in the III Floor. These women after getting training in Santvana can get self-employment as there is a large demand for nurses in the city to take care of the immobile elders in so many families.. The biggest advantage here is, they can have a practical experience of serving the Elders who are housed in the proposed Building.
